INTRAcel
INTRAcel is a state of the art, non-surgical treatment for tightening and firming which is minimally invasive, and a non-surgical procedure for skin rejuvenation. We use a micro needling device to create controlled micro-injuries, which helps the skin to regenerate itself. Skin needling provides results similar to laser resurfacing and deep chemical peels, but at a fraction of the cost and with minimal discomfort and downtime.
Each fine needle creates a channel, or micro-wound to the dermis. This controlled micro injury triggers the natural wound healing response which then fill these micro-wounds with new collagen and elastin.
INTRAcel delivers focused and controlled energy both to the surface and deep within the skin using a handheld device that delivers micro needling and radio frequency heat to targeted areas of tissue, stimulating both circulation and collagen production, as well as re-contouring the appearance of the skin.
The process effectively tightens and lifts to enhance facial contours, whilst improving the skin’s overall radiance. The instant lifting and tightening of this treatment is quite remarkable and can be used on the entire face to lift and tone, the neck to firm loose skin and reduce fatty deposits, the decolletage to smooth and contour and the eyes to firm and brighten for a more rested appearance.
Due to the instant results, a single treatment can be carried out for a special occasion or as a restorative and rejuvenating boost to your current clinical facial.
For long lasting results, a course of three treatments is required for effective and enduring tissue remodelling to occur. One treatment every six weeks is optimal.

What is INTRAcel?
INTRAcel is a state of the art, non-surgical treatment for tightening and firming skin and reducing the appearance of wrinkles without the down time associated with laser resurfacing or surgical face lift.
How does it work?
It combines radio frequency technology, micro needling and fractional treatments, all in one simple procedure. Tiny insulated needles penetrate deep into the dermis and heat the tissue for microseconds.
What skin conditions and areas can be treated?
General firming, tightening and smoothing of skin and wrinkle reduction on the face, neck and jawSkin tightening and wrinkle reduction around eyes, the top lip, around the mouth, the jowls, the neck, hands, the chest and other body areas.
When will I see results?
Generally the skin will begin to feel smoother and tighter even after the first treatment, but the results from the treatment will continue to improve for up to six months. The results are variable.
What’s The Difference Between Morpheus8 and INTRAcel?
The technology is essentially the same for both Morpheus8 and INTRAcel. They are brand names and offer slightly different devices. However, they both offer radio-frequency and microneedling. In the hands of someone who knows what they’re doing, they are handy tools, and each practitioner has their preferred device. Ultimately it’s the skill of the practitioner that matters more than which device they use.
INTRAcel before and after
The downtime following a treatment is minimal, and you should be able to return to normal ‘light’ daily activities immediately after your procedure. Dr Alannah recommends avoiding physical strain and sports on the first day after treatment and avoiding a sauna or steamy baths for the first few days. Clients should also avoid intense sun or UV light exposure immediately after treatments.
Care following treatment
The use of a good sunscreen (30+) following the treatment is very important to protect the skin during the healing phase and for several weeks following treatment.Aloe Vera gel and cold compresses can be applied following treatment.
Makeup can be applied after 24 hours once the initial epidermal healing has occurred.All your aftercare needs will be discussed by during your consultation process.
