The Glow Protocol is a three-phase treatment designed to deliver measurable improvements in skin clarity, tone, and radiance in a single session. Combining prescription-strength Vitamin C resurfacing, Intense Pulsed Light therapy, and personalised Medilux LED, it works by treating the skin at multiple levels — addressing pigmentation, redness, and dullness at their source to reveal clearer, calmer, more luminous skin.

Phase One — Vitamin C Resurfacing

We begin with a prescription-strength Vitamin C treatment applied directly to the skin. Unlike the Vitamin C you'll find in everyday skincare, this is L-ascorbic acid in its purest, most active form — the only version your skin can actually absorb and use.

As it works into the skin, it gently dissolves the bonds holding dead, dull skin cells on the surface, revealing the fresher, brighter skin underneath. At the same time, it begins to calm inflammation, reduce the appearance of pigmentation, and flood the skin with antioxidant protection. The result is skin that is smoother, clearer, and noticeably more radiant — even before we move to phase two.

Phase Two — Intense Pulsed Light

Once the skin has been resurfaced and prepared, we introduce IPL — Intense Pulsed Light. Pulses of broad-spectrum light are delivered into the skin, targeting two specific concerns:

Pigmentation – the light is drawn into the areas of excess pigment, breaking them down into minute particles that the body can eliminate.

Redness and thread veins – the light also targets the blood within visible vessels, gently collapsing the tiny capillaries responsible for redness and flushing.

Phase Three — Medilux LED Therapy

The final phase of the Glow Protocol is where we personalise your treatment. Once the skin has been resurfaced and treated with IPL, we complete your session with Medilux LED light therapy — selected specifically for your skin's individual needs.

Different wavelengths of LED light interact with the skin in different ways, and your Device Specialist will choose the most appropriate setting based on your primary concern: red & infrared light for rejuvenation, yellow light for pigmentation, blue light for acne, and green light for redness.

The Medilux phase takes place while the skin is in its most receptive state — making it the ideal moment to deliver targeted light therapy and maximise the overall results of your Glow Protocol.

What to expect

In the days following your Glow Protocol, you may notice pigmented areas temporarily darkening before they fade — this is the treatment working exactly as it should.
